As I rode today, I thought of you
and the miles we shared together.
I was in the mountains, shaded by trees
on winding roads that stretched forever.
I looked to my left and to my right
but my brother, I did not see.
But in my heart and in my mind
you were on the King beside me.
As I rode today, I thought of the games
so filled with stress and strife.
I hope you no longer play them
and are now living your own life.
These games are an endless circle
with no reason for you to stay.
Take care of your own business
then make your getaway.
As I rode today, I was smiling
because I felt you there with me.
On the road of new life, ride and you shall see.
